The Ministry of Environment has automated its hunting, angling and trapping licensing (HAL) system.  Effective April 1 at 9:00 am, you can purchase your angling and spring bear licences.  All remaining licences will be available in time for the fall hunting season. [Read more]

Please Note: in order to purchase a licence online, you need to have access to a printer.

Licences may also be purchased by phone toll-free at 1-855-848-4773 (8:00 am - 9:00 pm CST) and at licence issuers (see current licence issuer listing).

To encourage people to sign up for a HAL ID, there will be a random draw held on June 3, 2013, for all hunters and anglers who create a HAL ID from April 1- May 31, 2013.  Three winning entrants will each receive a $100 gift certificate to a sporting goods store. Click here for contest rules.
