Wildfire Management's mandate is to protect Saskatchewan values at risk from wildfire. The three primary objectives of the Education and Prevention Unit are:

  1. Reducing Unwanted Human Caused Wildfires
  2. Increasing Public Awareness and Self Protection Capacity
  3. Reducing Wildfire Risk to People and Property

The FBKB is a searchable database of wildland fire behaviour observations. The purpose is to allow Fire Behaviour analysts to describe a fuel complex, search through the observation database and review field fire behavior observations from similar fuel situations.
