The 2015 Canadian resident white-tailed deer draw will be open May 1 to June 2, 2015 inclusive. Beginning this year, the Canadian resident white-tailed deer draw will be incorporated into the automated Hunting, Angling and Trapping Licensing (HAL) service.  Applicants will be required to submit their application through their HAL web account.

All applicants will be required to have a HAL account.  If applying as a group, please be aware that each group member’s HAL ID and date of birth must be entered onto the application. Applicants will also be able to review and update their application and, if drawn, purchase draw licences through their account.

Hunters applying with a sponsor are reminded that all members of the application must have a sponsor who is an immediate family member and is a Saskatchewan resident.  All sponsors will now be required to have a HAL account in order to be verified as a Saskatchewan resident.  Applicants should ensure that their sponsor has created a HAL account and that they have given you consent to include them on your application.  Their HAL ID and date of birth must be entered on the application.

All applicants are advised to apply early to familiarize themselves with the new application process and to allow time to resolve any issues that may occur.

More information including available zones, tentative quotas and seasons as well as detailed application instruction will be available on this web page prior to May 1.
