Go Green Climate ChangeThe single most significant environmental challenge facing the globe and citizens of the earth is the changes in our climate that are occurring as a result of greenhouse gas emissions. As global citizens, as citizens of Canada and Saskatchewan, we must accept our role in contributing to greenhouse gas emissions, as well as our responsibility to do our part to reduce emissions and address the challenges of climate change.

Climate Change ConsultationsThe Ministry of Environment conducted stakeholder consultations on proposed legislation to regulate greenhouse gas emissions in the province which was introduced in the Spring 2009 session of the provincial legislature. A backgrounder on the scope of these consultations can be found here. A new round of consultation is set to begin to further develop the regulations for greenhouse gas emissions in the province. Members of the public are also invited to comment.
